Intellectual Property
Einride is committed to developing groundbreaking technologies for electric and autonomous freight. Our innovation is embodied in our intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. This page outlines Einride's intellectual property policies and provides guidance for third parties seeking to use or reference Einride's intellectual property. This page applies to Einride and all of Einride’s affiliated companies.
General Guidelines for Using Einride Trademarks and Copyrights
These general guidelines apply to Einride customers, partners, licensees, developers, suppliers, investors, analysts, media, and any other parties wishing to use Einride's trademarks, service marks, trade dress, or copyrighted materials in promotional, advertising, instructional, reference, or other materials, including on websites, products, labels, or packaging where no other agreement regarding the use of Einride Trademarks and Copyrights is in force.
Einride's trademarks, service marks, trade names, and trade dress are valuable assets. By following these guidelines, you help us protect our trademark rights and strengthen our corporate and brand identity. By using any Einride trademark, in whole or in part, you acknowledge that Einride is the sole owner of the trademark and agree that you will not interfere with Einride's rights in the trademark, including challenging Einride's use, registration of, or application to register such trademark, alone or in combination with other words, in any jurisdiction. The goodwill derived from using any part of an Einride trademark exclusively inures to the benefit of and belongs to Einride. Except for the limited right to use as expressly permitted under these guidelines, no other rights of any kind are granted hereunder, by implication or otherwise.
If you have any questions regarding these guidelines, please contact Einride's IP Department at IP@einride.tech.
Authorized Use of Einride Trademarks
2. Publications, Industry Events, and Conferences. You may use an Einride word mark in connection with publication titles, industry reports, seminars, or conferences, provided you comply with all of the following requirements:
(a) The use is referential and less prominent than the rest of the title.
(b) The use reflects accurately on Einride and Einride products or technology.
(c) Your name and logo appear more prominently than the Einride word mark on all printed and digital materials related to the publication, seminar, or conference.
(d) The Einride logo or any other Einride-owned graphic symbol, icon, or image does not appear on or in the publication or on any materials related to the publication, seminar, or conference without express written permission from Einride.
(e) A disclaimer of sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement by Einride, similar to the following, is included on the publication and on all related printed and digital materials: "[Title] is an independent [publication/event] and has not been authorized, sponsored, or otherwise approved by Einride AB or any of its affiliates."
(f) A trademark attribution notice is included in the credit section giving notice of Einride's ownership of its trademarks. Please refer to the section below titled "Proper Trademark Notice and Attribution."
3. Websites. Websites that serve as noncommercial informational resources concerning Einride products or technology may use the appropriate Einride word mark, provided such use complies with the guidelines set forth in Section 2 above.
Unauthorized Use of Einride Trademarks
1. Company, Product, or Service Name. You may not use or register, in whole or in part, an Einride word mark or any other Einride trademark, including Einride-owned graphic symbols, logos, icons, or an alteration thereof, as or as part of a company name, trade name, product name, or service name for any good and/or service overlapping with those of Einride, except as specifically noted in these guidelines or pursuant to written consent or a license agreement with Einride. Einride reserves the right to object to any use of its trademarks that it believes, in its sole discretion, may infringe upon, dilute, or otherwise harm its trademark rights under the laws of any applicable jurisdiction.
2. Einride Logo and Einride-Owned Graphic Symbols. You may not use the Einride logo or any other Einride-owned graphic symbol, logo, or icon on or in connection with websites, products, vehicles, packaging, manuals, promotional or advertising materials, or for any other purpose, except pursuant to an express written trademark license from Einride.
3. Variations, Takeoffs, or Abbreviations. You may not use a variation, phonetic equivalent, foreign language equivalent, takeoff, or abbreviation of an Einride trademark for any purpose in connection with goods or services related to those offered by Einride or in any manner likely to cause confusion, mistake, or deception as to the source, sponsorship, or affiliation of such goods or services.
4. Disparaging Manner. You may not use an Einride trademark or any other Einride-owned graphic symbol, logo, or icon in a disparaging manner.
5. Endorsement or Sponsorship. You may not use any Einride trademark, including Einride-owned graphic symbols, logos, or icons, in a manner that would imply Einride's affiliation with, or endorsement, sponsorship, or support of, a third-party product, service, or organization.
6. Merchandise Items. You may not manufacture, sell, or give away merchandise items bearing any Einride trademark, including symbols, logos, or icons, except pursuant to an express written trademark license from Einride.
7. Einride Trade Dress. You may not imitate the distinctive Einride branding, Einride Smartcharger Station design, Einride Saga design, website design, vehicle taping, autonomous vehicle design, Einride Control Tower design or interface, language, logos, or typefaces.
8. Slogans and Taglines. You may not use or imitate an Einride slogan(s) or tagline(s), e.g. Intelligent Movement™.
9. Domain Names. You may not use an identical, virtually identical, phonetic equivalent, typo or other close variation of a Einride trademark as a second-level domain name.
10. Scope of Trademark Rights. Einride claims trademark rights in its marks in all jurisdictions where such rights have been established through registration, use in commerce, or applicable law. Certain Einride trademarks may be registered in some jurisdictions and unregistered in others. The inclusion of a mark in these guidelines or in the Einride Trademark List does not constitute a representation that such mark is registered in any particular jurisdiction. Nothing in these guidelines is intended to extend Einride's trademark rights beyond those established under applicable law.
Rules for Proper Use of Einride Trademarks
Trademarks are adjectives used to modify nouns; the noun is the generic name of a product or service.
As adjectives, trademarks may not be used in the plural or possessive form. Correct: "two Einride autonomous vehicles." Not correct: "two Einrides."
An appropriate generic term must appear after the trademark the first time it appears in a printed or digital piece, and as often as is reasonable after that. Refer to the Einride Trademark List below for suggested generic terms.
Always spell and capitalize Einride's trademarks exactly as they appear in the Einride Trademark List. Do not shorten or abbreviate Einride product names. Do not create names that contain Einride trademarks.
Proper Trademark Notice and Attribution
1. Distribution Within the United States. On product documentation, marketing materials, or other communications distributed in the United States, use the appropriate trademark symbol (™ or ®) the first time the Einride trademark appears in the text. Include an attribution of Einride's ownership of its trademarks within the credit notice section, for example: "________ and ________ are registered trademarks of Einride AB." or "________ and ________ are trademarks of Einride AB."
2. Distribution Outside the United States. Do not use trademark symbols on materials distributed outside the United States. Use one of the following international credit notices: "________ is a trademark of Einride AB, registered in the U.S. and other countries and regions." or "________ is a trademark of Einride AB."

The following is a non-exhaustive list of Einride trademarks. The absence of a product or service name from this list does not constitute a waiver of Einride's trademark or other intellectual property rights concerning that name.
