15th May was a historic occasion. The first cab-less, electric truck – Einride’s T-pod – drove on a public road. The world premiere and inaugural run took place at DB Schenker’s facility in Jönköping, Sweden. This week the vehicle is on display at transport logistic, the world’s leading trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT, and supply chain management in Munich.
The T-pod, part of Einride’s sustainable transport solution, will move goods between a warehouse and terminal at the facility In Jönköping, the first commercial installation of its kind. If you happen to visit the transport logistic fair in Munich this week, 4 – 7 June, be sure to stop by DB Schenker’s stand in Hall B6, Stand 209/310, where The T-pod is on display.
The T-pod was unveiled 4th June at a press event hosted by Mr. Andreas Scheuer, Transport Minister of Germany along with Robert Falck, CEO & founder of Einride as well as the Management Board of Deutsche Bahn and DB Schenker.
